PEERS - EDUCATIONAL LIFE SKILLS PROGRAM  

 
 

PEERS - Phab’s Equal Experience, Resource Support program is an Educational Life Skills Program informed by the Enabling Good Lives principles. PEERs is co-designed by members and staff with a holistic approach hauora (well-being). The program development considers all members strengths and goals. 

 

The program runs during the school term. 

Takapuna - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. 

Hibiscus Coast - Monday.  

The program includes meaningful, productive, tangible and engaging activities such as:

  • Stretching and movement sessions 

  • Creative art projects 

  • Assisting in PHAB fundraising 

  • Music workshops 

  • Café projects 

  • Budgeting workshops and supermarket visits 

  • Events and community outings 

  • Current event studies 

  • Cultural experiences 

  • Garden to table: Gardening skills and cooking classes 

Transport to and from PHAB is your own responsibility

Members supply their own morning tea, lunch, snacks and drink.

PROGRAM FEE Options:

  • $92 ($80.00 + GST per day) 

  • or a Carer Support Day per day  

The program is often full due to its popularity but we always welcome new enquiries for future participants. 

*This cost covers staff and administration only, outings may incur an extra cost.
